My interest in business and technology started early. I ran neighborhood ventures as a kid and was programming by my preteen years.

At The University of Texas at Austin, I studied economics, advertising, and computer science. I also earned my pilot's license during college, and I met the four friends who would go on to become my co-founders.

The 2007 announcement of the first iPhone was a turning point. I saw it as a fundamental shift in technology, and my partners and I set out to build a company at the front of the new mobile-first world. We founded Mutual Mobile in our 20s.

Over the next decade, I bootstrapped and grew Mutual Mobile from that first idea into a 300-person global firm. We helped Fortune 1000 clients innovate with mobile, IoT, VR, and AI, and we generated over $250 million in revenue. In 2023, Mutual Mobile was acquired by the publicly traded company Grid Dynamics.

Building and scaling that company led me to where I am now: artificial intelligence. Today I serve as CEO of FreedomGPT and as a General Partner at the venture firm Age of AI, where I invest in the next generation of AI companies. I'm focused on building AI that is more open, personal, and aligned with how people actually want to use it, and on helping founders navigate the challenges of scaling.

I'm based in Austin, Texas. When I'm not working, I'm usually with my family, flying, or staying connected to the local tech community. You can read more of my thinking on AI, leadership, and entrepreneurship on my blog.
